Early Intervention and Child Protection Network

Since 2013, professionals from the relevant agencies and institutions have been working closely together as part of the “Early Intervention and Child Protection Network” to ensure that all children in Salzgitter can grow up in a supportive environment.

Early intervention services, designed to support expectant mothers and parents of children under elementary school age in Salzgitter, have now become an integral part of the local service landscape. It is designed as a low-threshold system of diverse services focused on early intervention and aimed at strengthening family resources—ranging from concrete, individualized postnatal support as young families adjust to life together to the services offered by family centers and family education centers in the individual city districts. These support options are intended to relieve the burden on parents and support children as they grow up.

Since 2013, the “Early Intervention and Child Protection Network” in Salzgitter has been dedicated to this goal. The interdisciplinary collaboration among professionals from various institutions and fields of expertise helps ensure that children in Salzgitter can grow up well and safely. All key institutions and professionals collaborate within the “Early Intervention and Child Protection Network” to ensure that this goal remains achievable for the future in Salzgitter.
